This is a very good article and can be proven with the algorithms in the brain and the strong but wrong tendencies in older workers. It proves the need for on-going training as we age--we need it as much when we are older as we do when we are young. Sometimes we perform based on how we FEEL when the only reality that exists is empirical. Very important in flight operations and other high risk environments.

And, for those of you who don't know, Malcolm Gladwell wrote Blink, and most recently, Outliers. Blink takes a look at our two-track cognitive processing. Outliers reviews the factors leading to success. Both are entertaining introductions reviewing the impact of psychology and sociology on our lives.
